Behind the Lens

About

For over 18 months, I embarked on a solo adventure that took me across 37 countries, each offering a unique landscape, culture, and story. As a passionate photographer, I spent my days hiking through rugged terrains, navigating bustling cities, and capturing the raw beauty of nature of some of the most remote corners of the world.

Having always had a large passion for travel and the outdoors, taking on a large backpacking adventure on my own seemed like a natural step in my journey. It was an opportunity to not only to explore, but to immerse myself fully in the environment around me. Whether I was standing atop a mountain at sunrise in Patagonia, or photographing the tranquil coastline of the Amalfi Coast in Italy, each moment was a chance to connect with the landscape.

The 37 countries I explored were more than just destinations; they were transformative experiences that shaped my perspective on the world and my craft. From the towering peaks of the Swiss Alps to the sweeping sand dunes of Peru, every landscape told a story. It was through the fellow backpackers I met in the many hostels I stayed, the locals trying to explain the best corners of their hometown in broken English, and the days where we had no plans and found hidden beauty, that I truly experienced what travel was.
